This collection contains resources for teacher learning around the first core practice of storyline instruction. The following is a short description of this practice: Teachers collaborate with students to foster a learning community where students are recognized as capable and agentic sensemakers, whose ideas, questions, ways of knowing, and language repertoires are seen as valuable and generative for figuring out phenomena. This practice lays the foundation for and makes possible the type of learning community necessary for realizing storyline instruction.
