Journal of College Science Teaching
Write for our postsecondary journal
Journal of College Science Teaching is an international, peer-reviewed journal publishing high-quality, original science education research.
The Journal of College Science Teaching (JCST) provides a forum for the exchange of ideas on and experiences with undergraduate science courses, particularly those for nonscience majors. JCST also reports and discusses innovative teaching materials, methods, and evaluative criteria; disseminates contributions toward improving college science instruction; and describes work in disciplinary science courses that is broad enough in its approach to appeal to teachers in other scientific fields. All manuscripts are peer reviewed.
Submit Your Manuscript
Please read our manuscript guidelines before submitting your manuscript. Manuscripts should be submitted electronically; once online, follow the steps for New Author Registration. Your manuscript should:

Footnotes
* Action research is a form of investigation designed for use by teachers to attempt to solve problems and improve professional practices in their own classrooms. It involves systematic observations and data collection which can be then used by the practitioner-researcher in reflection, decision making and the development of more effective classroom strategies.
* A case study is the process and product of building a deep understanding of a bounded system(s) in an authentic setting by investigating the particular contextual influences and complexities using many data sources and thick description.
