Science and Children -- March 2005

In science, students learn about their place in the natural world. In social studies, they learn about our social systems and history. Both are vitally important subjects. What better way to "prepare students to lead personally fulfilling and responsible lives" as stated in Science for All Americans than to have them coalesce harmoniously in an integrated curriculum.
