Teachers and students are subjected to myriad indoor and outdoor air pollutants such as arsenic, asbestos, benzene, formaldehyde, isocyanates, lead, and a host of others from materials used in classrooms, laboratories, lunchrooms, gymnasiums, and on athletic fields.
