Daryl Williams Jr. is a man of exceptional caliber, embodying the power of pursuing excellence and demonstrating how it can be realized through dedication and hard work. His career in education has seen him teach, coach, and now administer to those under his watch. Beyond his professional roles, Williams’ larger-than-life persona leaves a lasting impression on everyone he meets. His infectious energy motivates others, both inside and outside the classroom, to reach their full potential. Renowned for his powerful words and captivating presence, Williams’ unique style ensures that his talks have a profound and lasting impact.

Williams began his career teaching middle school math for six years before advancing to the role of Instructional Coach. His hard work earned him National Board Certification, two Teacher of the Year awards, and two master's degrees—one from Johns Hopkins University and the other from the University of North Carolina. Now serving as an Assistant Principal, he continues to support educators in enhancing classroom practices to drive student growth. Through his company, Pursuit of Excellence, Williams has made it his mission to help a million students live the lives they choose, not the ones they settle for.

He creates resources to develop key skills, mindsets, and character strengths in students, while also leading professional development sessions and producing online content to guide teachers and school leaders in fostering student growth. Williams’ deep commitment to every student he serves is evident, and his impact on education is just the beginning.
