Curriculum Launch Workshops
NSTA is providing virtual OpenSciEd (OSE) Curriculum Launch Workshops to immerse you in teaching and learning driven by students making sense of phenomena. Experience the innovative learning of OSE’s high-quality instructional materials first-hand from the students’ perspective and see how students’ sensemaking develops through careful analyses of classroom videos, real student work, and student and teacher interviews.
Eight live web seminars are scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM Eastern time. Specific program dates are below:

Curriculum Launch + Facilitator Training Workshops
The Facilitator Training Workshops are for educators who plan to implement OpenSciEd units in their classrooms and/or want to develop a professional learning facilitator “tool kit” to provide the Curriculum Launch workshop for science teachers in their school or district.
Eight live web seminars are scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM Eastern time. Two additional live web seminars are scheduled on Saturdays, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM Eastern time. Specific program dates are below:
