The first year in the classroom is probably the most challenging of a science teacher’s career. While many science and education classes are offered in college, they do not always teach the basics of getting started. Not only does the new teacher have to worry about presenting the curriculum and meeting state benchmarks, but there are day-to-day issues as well.
