Alcohols, glycols, aldehydes, esters, ketones, and other flammable or combustible liquids are found in many high school labs. But they need special care when it comes to storage. Unfortunately, in some laboratories, many flammable or combustible liquids are stored on countertops, under fume hoods, in wood cabinets, or other inappropriate places in the lab.
