JoinBlast Off into Space Science with Fuses
Batteries and bulbs electrify middle school students. In fact, one of the most engaging activities in the authors’ classroom is building fuses. When it comes time for students to close the circuits and let the sparks fly, they really get excited! To add to the excitement, space science and cross-age teaching were integrated into the lesson. This article describes how you and your students can develop a similar fuse activity.
