Creative Conflict Resolution is an instructional technique tailor-made for examining science and society issues. This technique provides an excellent forum for students to present data and discuss their findings with their peers. Conflict exists when one person’s ideas, information, conclusions, theories, or opinions are incompatible with those of another. As a result, students must work cooperatively to reach an agreement. This article presents a lesson in creative conflict to help students learn how to solve complex problems.
