The Technology-Based Learning in School Science (tBLISS) project was developed with two purposes in mind—to investigate the feasibility of implementing a technology-based science curriculum with a small group of teachers and students and to examine how students acquire science process skills in such a learning environment. The tBLISS curriculum featured in this article focuses on water as a theme. It is important for teachers and students to be fully oriented about the meaning, importance, and role of collaboration in scientific investigations before they participate in technology-based science projects.
