ARLINGTON, Va.—July 8, 2020—The National Science Teaching Association Executive Director Search Committee, chaired by former NSTA President Christine Royce on behalf of the NSTA Board of Directors, has officially begun its nationwide search for qualified candidates interested in serving as the Association’s next executive director.
Reporting to the NSTA Board of Directors, the executive director is responsible for the overall operational management, strategic planning, and financial leadership of the organization. The job announcement outlines the expectations for the position and the qualifications for those interested in submitting their application for consideration.
The Arlington, VA-based National Science Teaching Association is the largest professional organization in the world promoting excellence in science teaching and learning, preschool through college. NSTA's membership includes approximately 40,000 science teachers, science supervisors, administrators, scientists, business representatives, and others involved in science education.
