Peeking Inside Plants

Submitted by webmaster on
In the Peeking Inside Plants eBook, learners explore plant structures (stems, leaves, flowers, roots, and fruit) in order to build an argument about how these internal and external structures are responsible for the growth, survival, and reproduction of plants. Learners are joined by Abe, a junior wildlife expert at a nature preserve. Abe guides the learners as they explore, through the interactive elements of the eBook, how these structures are integral to plants as well as how different plants have specific types of structures depending on the environment in which they live.

Geology on the Move

Submitted by webmaster on
The Geology on the Move e-Book is an interactive book where learners study the geologic features of weathering and erosion by embarking on virtual geology field trips. In the first field trip, learners board a raft and travel down the Colorado River. As they traverse the river, they collect evidence from the surrounding landforms, guiding them to make discoveries about weathering and erosion.
